A salt is an ionic compound that can be formed by the neutralization reaction of an acid and a base. Salts are electrically neutral. Sodium chloride (NaCl),   Calcium Chloride (CaCl2), Calcium Sulphate (CaSO4), Zinc Chloride (ZnCl2), Zinc Sulphate (ZnSO4) are some examples of Salts.
